Matthew AItken – owneR & TRaIneR
Matthew is currently a K9 handler and Instructor for Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit. He has been employed with Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office since 2006 and has been a K9 handler since 2011. He is certified as a Canine Instructor by Florida Department of Law Enforcement and is also a certified Canine Team Evaluator. Matthew has trained canine teams from Clearwater Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department, Largo Police Department, Tarpon Springs Police Department, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, and Bradenton Police Department. Matthew competes annually in the United States Police Canine Association Field Trials and continues to train police dogs in obedience & agility, building & area search, tracking, bite work & handler protection, and narcotic and explosives detection.
Jeff Clement – owneR & TRaineR
Jeff has worked for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office for over twenty years and has been in the Canine Unit since 2011. He has worked two successful dogs during his tenure. Jeff has completed canine school with both of his dogs and is certified as a dual purpose Canine Team through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Jeff competes annually in United States Police Canine Association Field Trials, has attended several advanced K9 training courses, and continues to train with canine units throughout the Tampa Bay area.
